Baby Kris - Kris Blade Ritual Athame - 9.75 inch

Default Title
Named "Baby Kris" for its blade style, this unique ritual athame will make a unique addition to your ritual and magick. This one of a kind athame contains a wavy, hand forged blade, which is known as a kris blade. There is a open energy with this athame and would make the perfect ritual tool.

The cross guard and the pommel are made with brass. The handle is made with Gabon Ebony wood, which comes from Africa. Gabon ebony is associated with equalizing masculine and feminine energies and is said to be a very magical wood. Scott Cunningham, trusted writer of numerous books about magic and the occult, writes about ebony, "Ebony wood is protective and so is used in making amulets. Ebony wands give the magician pure, unadulterated power."

The blade is forged with O-1 oil hardening tool steel. This steel holds a very good edge. Being that it is tool steel, it needs to be protected with either high grade oil or a silicone gun cloth, to prevent rusting. Unprotected tool steel will rust. Keep dry and oiled and this athame will last a lifetime.

This athame also comes with a hand sewn leather sheath, also made by Grey Bear. This athame was Hand forged by Grey Bear in his studio in Port Richey, Florida.
