Cottage BlogwichPosted February 23 2012
As our wonderful Eclectic Artisans website continues to grow, slowly but surely, (isn't that the best way with all things worthwhile?) I'd like to take a few moments to introduce you to my little corner of the site, lovingly known as Blogwich. Imagine, virtually, a cozy, comfortable environment where sunlight dapples the walls during the day and the warm glow of firelight chases the evening shadows. The sweet smell of dried herbs fill the air..lavender, sage, meadowsweet.. and soft music, the touch of a Celtic Harp soothes your mind. Perhaps there is fresh bread baking in the brick oven... Pull up a rocking chair, an over-stuffed pillow, or sit upon the Earth itself and stay with me awhile!
Here you can look forward to finding articles on magickal workings, history, lore, recipes for Sabbat and Esbat-appropriate foods and treats, ideas for ritual, spellcraft, children's crafts, herbal preparations and so much more! Perhaps a poem, story or anecdote or two will find its way in as well, should those ancient muses so inspire! Of course, I will also be featuring our amazing products and crafts and helping you to familiarize with their uses and myriad potential to bring Magick and Beauty into your everyday practices!
We at Eclectic Artisans know that you have so, so many choices when it comes to shopping for your Metaphysical, Wicca, Pagan and Witchcraft supplies, especially online. Having had the pleasure of owning and operating my own brick & mortar shops in the past, I have seen such amazing and not-so-amazing items come up for sale. We have made a commitment to offer only those goods that we deem as quality and cost-effective for you, our cherished patrons, in order to satisfy and fulfill your needs and desires. We aim to keep our prices extremely competitive, if not quite low, so that you may be able to obtain the supplies, tools, gifts or "ooo shinies" that strike your fancy! We don't want you to dream about owning these special items, we want them in your hands, enhancing your practices, hearths and homes!
We take our Craft very seriously here, though not without mirth and cheer, and walk our Paths in dedication and honor. Please, please always feel free to communicate with any of our staff, including myself, for any concern, even if just to say hello or to share a story! We love to have your feedback and look forward to our continued growth with YOU! Our sincere thanks is given to you for visiting us, for sharing your time. Cheers!
Oh..and remember that scent of bread baking? Mm..how about a favorite recipe of mine to start us off? :)
