This is a Carnelian pendant. For anyone who may know about this stone, you can see it is unlike most carnelian, mainly because this stone is unique with its pale color. Carnelian tends to be deeper and darker red. That's what drew me to this stone. All stones are hand picked. Necklace not included.

Carnelian comes from the Latin word for flesh or cherry. It mainly is found in India. It helps open the Sacral/Naval/2nd Chakra. It is a form of chalcedony (which I DID NOT KNOW!!!) This stone is an energy booster. It helps to strengthen concentration, its also helpful in helping those who are insecure to find strength in dealing with those insecurities. Carnelian Dispels negativity and replaces it with positive energy, helps sooth those with depression. It does have some grounding abilities. Also its stated that it helps heal abdominal pain if placed directly on the bare skin of the abdomen, (this would mean its great for pregnancy). This was a stone of nobility during the renaissance. There are a lot more "metaphysical" properties, these were just some of the common and most known. :-)
